Virginia Marie Edwards

Virginia Marie Edwards, 74, of Durham, North Carolina passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born on May 22, 1948, in Bethesda, Maryland to the late French and Mary Pair.

Mrs. Edwards was a very loving and caring woman. She enjoyed cooking and especially baking, creating delicious treats for family and friends. Virginia also liked to shop whether on Amazon, Home Shopping Network or QVC to treat herself or one of her children to something new. She was also an artist who enjoyed drawing and sharing her artistic skills.

Towards the end of her life, she decided to enjoy life as much as possible. What she found most comforting to her was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Isabella. Virginia will be remembered as a selfless caring woman who was strong willed, and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all of those blessed to have known her.

Mrs. Edwards is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Edwards.

Virginia is survived by her daughters, Mindy Espinoza (Richard) and Courtney Edwards (Sergio Banda); brother, Steven Pair (Beverly); sisters, Mykaleen Sawyer, Stephanie Cummings (Daryl), Mindy Peach and Robyn Kern; granddaughter, Isabella Espinoza; very special friends, Landess Hicks, Mandy Brown, and Missy Allen; and numerous other loving family members and friends.

In honor of Virginia’s wishes no services will be held.
