Vivian Dickerson

CREEDMOOR Mrs. Vivian Dickerson, 61, of 2053 Will Suitt Road, Lot B, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014.
Mrs. Dickerson was born in Durham to the late Clarence William Healtherly and Mary Alice Jones Heatherly. She was a retired Seamstress. She was a member of the Gospel Independent Church on Ellis Road where she helped with Sunday School. She was a special and wonderful woman. The best Mom and Grand-mom anyone could ask for. She was a loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone. She was loved and will be missed. She loved church and going to the beach. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dickerson, Sr., her daughter, Barbara Ann Dickerson; brother, Vernon William Heatherly and sister Kathy Dove.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Renee Dickerson and husband, Lee Alan Maynard; son; Billy Dickerson; grandchildren, Jason Dickerson, Billy Ray Dickerson III, Taylor Morgan, Skyler Medlin, Brianna Medlin and Chloe Dickerson.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem. Rev. Freddie Partin will officiate. Pallbearers will be Billy Dickerson Jr, Jason Dickerson, Lee Maynard, Trey Dickerson and Brian Carden.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers are acceptable.
