The Manning Family - Buddy was such a sweet caring person who will be greatly missed by those who loved him and knew him. Take comfort in knowing he is with his beloved wife, Carolyn (your mom) and son, Ricky (your brother), what a great reunion that must have been. But most of all he is with his precious Savior. Our hearts are heavy for your loss. Just know you have many friends who care for and are praying for you. With much love, Rusty and Linda Jones

Dearest Manning Family, You are in our thoughts and prayers in your time of grief for this precious soul. "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” (Michah 6:8). This verse describes Buddy completely. What a just, merciful and humble man of God. It was his mantle that he wore before God daily to be an example to us all. He lived out putting God first, his family second and himself last. Our lives were never the same after meeting Buddy Manning back in 1983 at Bible Baptist Church. Thank you Buddy for teaching us so well. You have enriched our walk with the Lord. We loved to hear you sing - now you are singing with the angelic choir. You are reunited with Carolyn & Ricky, and rejoicing healed & whole before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords whom you loved supremely. Hallelujah!! "You have fought a good fight, finished the course and kept the faith" (II Timothy 4:7). "Well done, thou good and faithful servant" (Matt. 25:21) we are sure you have already heard. Thank you for your testimony to us all. May we press on applying what you taught us for many years. "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints" (Psalm 116:15). All our love & prayers, Van & Pam

Condolences to the family and sad at the loss of a special person. Buddy was one of a kind. What impressed me the most about Buddy was he could never, never get mad or upset in an expressive way WE can. Many times we could be around the table playing board games and we'd all get into our playful picking arguments. Carolyn could get your attention real quick. But Buddy, even if he tried to appear upset you couldn't tell it. He was the most humbled person I ever met, and will meet again. Special guy.

Mr. Manning was a wonderful Christian man. He will be missed greatly but I know he is happy to be with his Heavenly Father , his beautiful bride and his parents. Oh what a reunion they are surely having. As you the Manning family know God has his arms around you and will be with you through this tough time of loss. Cling to all those wonderful memories and one day you will all be together again. You are in my prayers. God Bless!
