Zelma Elizabeth Myers

DURHAM Zelma Elizabeth Myers, 69, beloved sister of Nancie Myers Dent of Morrisville, PA and Lewis and David Myers of Durham, NC passed away July 3, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Lewis H. and Inez V. Myers and leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special aunt, Mary Myers Allen of St. Louis, MO.
She is a member of St. Titus’ and St. Joseph’s Episcopal Churches. She was active in her faith and volunteered with Urban Ministries, Durham Congregations in Action and Vacation Bible School. Upon her retirement from the NC Museum of Natural Sciences, she fulfilled her passion for plants and the outdoors by becoming a Master Gardener and volunteering at Duke Gardens.
